i think my Orlandu ( finalfantasytactics:thewarofthelions ) is beyong awesome. his evading rate is 97% ( with shihandori and kaiser shield ) which left the enemy with 3% of success in dealing damage on him
and i never know that Reis can be so over-powerfull ... her stat is reaching Orlandu's ... and her current damage ( job:Dragoon with Javelin2 equipped ) reaches 999
well, enough about fft ... unless u wanna hear all the crap 'bout it
been reading trevvy's thread on the 5 dragonboaters who died during the race at Cambodia.its quite interesting on how it brings up not only the issue of dragonboat ( which has long dissappeared from the news ), safety and lastly, beauty
there is another article which title is : when beauty and death crosses path
many people were striked or touched - or even aroused - by the death of the rowers. yes, aroused. disgusting
the topic which was brought up on IRC received many replies, including a user, who wanted to give one of the rowers BJ ( blow job )
dude, they are dead. a lust over the dead is beyond rude but also immoral. not only that, many are interested in the topic just becaue they are dragonboaters. imagine if the victims were fat and ugly people. will the people, and the media, will react the same way as they do ?
the papers have been making this news frontpage for many days. some even posted the rowers' pictures half naked, turning them into an object, or worse, a sexual object.
indeed to say that these guys are dragonboaters and many have a very narrowminded view that all dragonboaters are cute and hunky. not that i am saying that the victims werent. but we can just see this tragedy just by the outside appearance. very few of us see the matter as singapore loses her team members. but many, see this issue as you lose people to oggle at
being a rockie rower myself, i feel sorry for the victims as i migth have seen them in past races. moreover, we actually raced with one of them from mountbatten cc during the last month regatta race. to realize that the people that are under the same umbrella as me, are no longer there, is quite striking
so please people, beauty esp in our community is important - i acknowledge that. but can we give those people with more respect. comment the accident in a rather moralised view. leave aside the emphasis on beauty and focus more on death
the two may cross paths but we cant just stare at one and totally ignore the other
"PADDLES UP"
my condolences for the 5 rowers
God bless
